How SAFE COD LK Works
A simple flow for registered sellers to check and report COD return history, without turning customers into a blacklist. Public anonymous lookup is not available.
What SAFE COD LK does
SAFE COD LK stores seller-reported COD return cases and lets approved sellers look up eligible history for a Sri Lankan mobile number before dispatch.
2. Verification
An administrator reviews seller accounts to reduce misuse before full access is enabled.
3. Number lookup
Enter a customer mobile number. It is normalized, hashed, and never shown in the address bar.
4. Understanding results
See eligible case counts, reporting sellers, reason summaries, and a history label, not a fraud score.
5. Reporting returns
Submit genuine COD return cases with optional evidence. Reports may be reviewed before they appear in lookups.
6. Case verification
Administrators can verify, reject, or mark cases as disputed based on available information.
7. Customer disputes
Anyone can request a review of information they believe is inaccurate, without confirming whether reports exist.
8. Privacy
Customer numbers are hashed for matching. Seller identities are not shown to other sellers in lookup results.
Important limitations
- SAFE COD LK does not know a customer's total orders or successful deliveries.
- No reported cases does not mean a customer is “safe.”
- Sellers remain responsible for their own dispatch decisions.
